MES: on the holding of a competitive selection of projects for young scientists

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced a competitive selection of projects of young scientists. The corresponding order was published on September 16, 2025 on the official website of the department.

Who can participate?

This is a “competitive selection of projects of fundamental scientific research, applied scientific research”, which are implemented by young scientists of higher education institutions and scientific institutions.

What are the main dates?

The organizers outline two stages:

– the first stage – from September 17 to October 17, 2025 (13:00 Kyiv time) in higher education institutions/national universities with submission of materials to the National Electronic Scientific Information System;

– the second stage – from October 18 to December 15, 2025 at the Ministry of Education and Science with processing and examination of materials in the National Electronic Scientific Information System.

When will the results of the competition be known?

By December 24, 2025, the Scientific and Expert Council of the Ministry of Education and Science will consider the results of the examination of the projects, and by December 26, 2025, the Ministry of Education and Science will be notified of the results of the competition.

Berdyansk State Pedagogical University issued an order establishing a commission at the Higher Education Institution to conduct the first stage of project selection.

We invite young scientists to join the competition, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from the state budget.
