On October 1, our country marks three significant occasions – the Feast of the Protection of the Holy Virgin, the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks, and the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. These celebrations unite spirituality, tradition, and contemporary courage – everything that shapes national dignity and resilience.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts held thematic events that brought participants together around reflections on the power of unity, the meaning of patriotism, and gratitude to those who defend the country. Curatorial hours and interactive meetings provided an opportunity to better understand the origins of these holidays, the role of the Cossacks in shaping national identity, and the heroism of modern warriors who defend Ukraine’s freedom every day.

A moment of silence became a sincere expression of respect for those who gave their lives for the state. Students expressed gratitude to those who today stand in its defense and shared their own thoughts on what it means to be a patriot in difficult times.

In addition to faculty activities, students together with teachers joined an all-Ukrainian online event organized by the Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. They took part in a quiz that not only tested their knowledge but also offered an opportunity to reflect on important historical events and figures.

Such meetings are not just a tradition. They are an opportunity to reconsider values, to feel unity and responsibility for the future. The Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts continues to nurture respect, memory, and strength of spirit in the hearts of its students.
