Introductory Conference on Diagnostic Practice: An Important Step Towards the Profession of a Special Education Specialist

On 14 October, third-year students of the Special Education (Speech Therapy) programme at the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University eagerly took part in the introductory conference dedicated to their industrial (diagnostic) practice. As always, this event was not merely a formality but a genuine start to a deeper immersion into their future profession.

During the conference, students received detailed information about the specific features, objectives, and methods of the upcoming practice, which will help them master essential professional skills. The future specialists learned how to effectively organise and conduct diagnostic work, as well as how to interact with children and adults with various speech and developmental difficulties. Such knowledge is invaluable for the formation of practical competences that will serve them throughout their professional careers.
