BDPU choreography students Presented their social projects in Lviv

Another stage of training for Bachelor’s degree students under the internal academic mobility program “The Art of the Choreographer” has come to an end — the in-person session took place at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

BDPU choreography students — Violetta Kaidash, Alina Popko, Daryna Kobets, Valeriia Mordvinova, and Evelina-Vasylina Kolodzinska — worked in five mixed groups together with students from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture, V. G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University, and Kherson State University.
Throughout the week, they implemented social choreography projects in various educational and youth creative institutions across Lviv.

The final event — “Presentation of Social Projects” — turned into a true celebration of dance, creativity, and collaboration.

Daryna Kobets shares her impressions: “Working with children was a real challenge. Divided into groups, we went all the way from idea to stage — the children became performers, while we brought every detail to life ourselves. For me, as a future choreographer, the practical part was a true impetus for growth and self-improvement. I discovered new teaching methods, gained valuable experience, and met wonderful people who, like me, live and breathe creativity. We all became friends, stay in touch with students from other universities, and plan new joint projects.”

Valeriia Mordvinova adds: “We eagerly awaited the in-person stage, wondering how everything would go. The first practical days in Lviv were an incredible and inspiring experience. Working on social projects wasn’t easy: our group included students from different universities with different visions of dance, but we managed to unite and create something meaningful. The most valuable part was working with children — their sincerity and enthusiasm for dance. When, after the performance, they said they wanted to keep dancing, I felt truly proud of our team.”

“The academic mobility program left me with a sea of positive impressions. What I remember most is working with children’s dance groups — it was a real exchange of energy, warmth, and inspiration. We spent a lot of time with the kids, holding classes, rehearsals, and creative meetings. It wasn’t just work — it was genuine communication through dance. This experience taught me to value even more the joy of working with children and the power of art that brings people together,”

shares Violeta Kaidash. “The academic mobility program in Lviv,” says Alina Popko, “became a true adventure for me — full of creativity, new friendships, and inspiration. The city captivated me with its atmosphere, the warmth of its people, and their love for art. What touched me most was working with children — they are sincere, open, and always ready to create. Together we moved, imagined, and discovered new emotions through dance. Every session brought joy and strengthened my belief in the power of art. This experience taught me to see more, feel deeper, and share my love for dance with everyone around me.”

Evelina-Vasylina Kolodzinska, deeply impressed by the intensive program, says: “Studying within the academic mobility program proves that dance is not only the art of movement but also a language of kindness, understanding, and unity. It is from such steps that true mastery of a choreographer begins.”

In conclusion, participation in the internal academic mobility program became not only a professional challenge for the choreography students but also an important step toward personal growth and motivation for further mastery of their educational and professional program.
