Interactive workshop “The Theory of Generations: How to Find a Common Language”

On October 23, as part of Pedagogy Week at the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, an interactive workshop entitled “The Theory of Generations: How to Find a Common Language” was held by Dr. Nadiia Dira, PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Pedagogy.

The purpose of the event was to develop an understanding of the characteristics of different generations – from Baby Boomers to Generation Alpha – and to explore effective ways of interaction among them in the modern educational environment. During the workshop, participants explored the values, thinking styles, and communication patterns of various generations through engaging interactive activities. Theoretical insights were combined with practical exercises, discussions, and short interactive tasks that helped participants experience how generational differences manifest in learning, communication, and professional contexts.

The event created a space for dialogue and mutual understanding, emphasizing that despite age differences, each generation contributes its unique strengths and shares a common aspiration for growth, respect, and cooperation.
