Participation of Social-Humanitarian Faculty representatives at the “Podolyany Book Festival” in the context of the development of the new educational and scientific program «Literature and Arts Management»

On 25–26 October 2025, the Podolyany Book Festival took place in Ternopil. This event brought together publishers, writers and readers – everyone for whom the Ukrainian language has become part of their spiritual and cultural life. Representatives of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature and Comparative Literary Studies of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University, Prof. Olga Kharlan and Assoc. Prof. Hanna Aleksandrova participated in the city’s main book event in the autumn. 

More than 25 publishers from all over Ukraine took part in the Book Fest, and among the guests were Vasyl Shklyar, Volodymyr Shovkovshchyna, Lyuko Dashvar, Olga Salipa, Oleg German and other authors. Among other visitors, BSPU teachers could purchase books, participate in meetings with writers and presentations of new publications, and attend autograph sessions.

Such events are significant for studying and understanding contemporary trends in the literary process, as this is part of the new Literary and Arts Management educational and scientific program, launched in 2025 at the faculty’s second level of higher education.
