A brilliant victory for Berdyansk State Pedagogical University was achieved by Alina Shyp, a member of the Folk Amateur Ensemble of the Trade Unions of Ukraine “MarLen” (artistic director – Honored Cultural Worker of Ukraine Olena Martynenko) and a bachelor’s degree student majoring in 024 Choreography.
At the 5th All-Ukrainian Two-Round Festival-Competition of Arts “The Cossack Line Never Ends”, held online from October 29 to 31, the student won 1st place with her solo performance “Two Colors of Destiny.”
The choreography for the competition piece was created by Nataliia Kryvun – choreographer of the “MarLen” ensemble, Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Human Health, and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Choreography and Fitness at BSPU.
Alina’s solo performance impressed the jury with its sincerity and technical mastery. The composition “Two Colors of Destiny” conveyed deep human emotions through the symbolism of colors — red and black, representing love and sorrow, dreams and trials.
This victory once again confirms the high level of training of the “MarLen” ensemble participants and the professionalism of the teaching staff at the Department of Choreography and Fitness of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.
Congratulations to Alina Shyp and her mentor Nataliia Kryvun on this outstanding result! We wish them inspiration, new creative ideas, and continued success that will further glorify Berdyansk State Pedagogical University at the national level!
