Freshmen Debut of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Human Health at BDPU: “GENESIS – The event where everything begins!”

One of the most anticipated events of the autumn student season took place at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University – the freshmen debut of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Human Health. The festive event, symbolically titled “GENESIS – the event where everything begins!”, became a bright start for a new generation of students and their first step into the large university community.

The event was moderated by the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty, Natalia Kryvun, and hosted by the Deputy Head of the Student Council of the Faculty, Yana Sutko.

This year, first-year students demonstrated the diversity and multifaceted nature of the faculty. The virtual stage featured presentations from the following study programs:

• A4 Specialty: Secondary Education (Biology and Human Health)
• A4 Specialty: Secondary Education (Physical Education)
• A7 Specialty: Physical Culture and Sports
• B6 Specialty: Performing Arts

Each freshmen group prepared a unique performance that combined creativity, sports spirit, artistry, and genuine student charisma. The audience had the opportunity to enjoy everything that, from the very first minutes, immersed them in an atmosphere of inspiration and new possibilities.

A special highlight of the debut was its “GENESIS” concept, symbolizing the birth of new talents, ideas, and dreams. The organizers emphasized that starting from this moment, freshmen embark not only on their academic journey but also on active student life filled with creative challenges, achievements, and discoveries.

The event was supported by faculty members and senior students. In the warm and inspiring atmosphere of the virtual hall, one could feel true unity between generations and a shared love for sports, art, and pedagogy.

“GENESIS” became the launching platform from which their path toward professional and personal growth begins. The new academic year promises to be eventful, and the debut is just the first step toward great achievements!
