Students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, enrolled in the Educational and Professional Programs “Choreography” and “Secondary Education (Choreography). Fitness”, have honorably represented the university as a whole and the Department of Choreography and Fitness in particular at two major scientific conferences. They demonstrated a high level of professional training and strong interest in research activities.
Under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Yuliia Taranenko, third-year part-time students Anna Prybylska and Yuliia Bohuslavska delivered substantial reports at the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Choreographic Terminology: Challenges of Modernity” hosted by the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine, where they showcased their ability to critically analyze material and draw well-founded conclusions.
In cooperation with the Department of Choreography and Art Culture of the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, the II All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Prospects for the Development of Contemporary Choreographic Art” was held. BDPU choreography students participated under the supervision of Associate Professors Olena Martynenko and Yuliia Taranenko.
Third- and fourth-year students — Valeriia Mordvinova, Oleksandra Charkina, Daria Khorolets, Khrystyna Vozniuk, Polina Brovarenko, Khrystyna Omelchenko, Mariia Rozhnova — presented their reports and engaged in active scientific discussions, sharing the results of their research related to choreographic education, creative practices, and innovative approaches in the art of dance.
First- and second-year students of specialities V6. Performing Arts and 024 Choreography — Neonila Derbeniova, Violeta Kaidash, Kateryna Hrudiyenko, Alina Shyp, Mariia Taranenko, Oleksandra Bartoshevych — were listeners but actively participated in discussions, asked questions, and proposed their own ideas, demonstrating their interest in scientific issues and strong professional motivation.
The active involvement of BDPU choreography students in scientific conferences demonstrated their readiness for professional growth, ability to present their own research, and capacity for constructive dialogue. This confirms the significance of systematic scientific work in shaping competitive specialists in the creative field.
We express our gratitude to the academic supervisors for their continuous motivation, support, and professional guidance, which inspire students to explore boldly, develop their own scientific perspectives, and confidently present the results of their work. Thanks to their expertise, openness, and trust, young choreographers are taking confident steps into the world of science and creative development.
