“Safe Path”: the BDPU Team Took Part in an Anti–Human Trafficking Quest

On December 2, 2025, students of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, together with lecturer Artem Polulyakhov, took part in a Safe Employment and Anti–Human Trafficking Quest organized by the “Smile” Space in Zaporizhzhia.

During the quest, participants found themselves in a simulated situation of seeking employment abroad. The organizers demonstrated the most common schemes of fraud, manipulation, and recruitment that can lead to labor exploitation or even modern slavery. Before the game began, the team was briefed and introduced to the rules of safe behavior.

Throughout the quest, the students had to identify risks and avoid provocations while following the instructions they had received. This format allowed them to experience firsthand how deceptive mechanisms work and why it is so important to maintain critical thinking.

At the end of the event, participants were congratulated on successfully completing the quest and received sweet gifts. The meeting concluded with friendly conversations and a summary of the key insights gained.
