Guest lecture. Knowledge that comes to life in practice.

Guest lecture on the OK “Psychophysiology of motor activity and methods of occupational therapy” for applicants of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education, 4th year, specialty 016 Special Education, Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education.

On November 11, 2025, an occupational therapist from the municipal non-profit association “Nikopol Medical Specialized Center for Medical and Social Rehabilitation of Children” of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council – Oleksandra Ponochovna was invited to the educational process.

During the lecture, the invited lecturer presented her own practical experience in applying occupational therapy methods in working with children with special educational needs; outlined the specifics of selecting and implementing occupational therapy methods in working with different age categories, as well as different functional capabilities; spoke about the challenges of working as an occupational therapist.

Applicants at the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education demonstrated their interest in the guest lecturer through questions and discussions on the outlined topic. The meeting ended with the definition of the trajectory of further cooperation, as well as words of gratitude to Oleksandra for the practice-oriented, evidence-based information in the context of studying the educational component.
