On December 5, 2025, an offline mine safety session was held in Zaporizhzhia, conducted by specialists from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on safety in high-risk areas.
Current realities demand special attention to the topic of mine hazards, as Zaporizhzhia is a front-line city where the threat of explosive ordnance is a daily reality. During the event, participants learned about the types of mines and ammunition, rules of conduct upon discovering them, the algorithm of actions in dangerous situations, as well as how to prevent injuries.
Specialists emphasized: mine safety knowledge saves lives. Participants were informed that even daily routes and familiar locations can conceal danger. Therefore, it is crucial to remain vigilant, follow instructions, and immediately report suspicious objects to the relevant services.
In wartime conditions, knowledge of mine safety rules is vital. Such events contribute to building a safety culture, raising public awareness, and helping to preserve what is most valuable – human life.
