On December 9, a crucial online seminar dedicated to critical safety issues in a state of war took place at the faculties of Physics, Mathematics, Computer and Technology Education and Preschool, Special, and Social Education.

Students received comprehensive information from a representative of the «Chervonyi Khrest». During the informative lecture, the speaker elaborated on such aspects as mine safety (including the identification of different types of mines and rules for handling explosive ordnance), the algorithm of actions during shelling, and the contents of the “emergency survival kit” (or “go-bag”). The speaker emphasized the importance of strict adherence to safety protocols and taking responsibility for one’s own life.

What was particularly valuable was the event’s interactive format. Students were not only listening to theoretical material but were actively involved in the discussion. Examples were demonstrated to help better understand potential threats. The event concluded with a short survey that demonstrated a high level of audience interest and comprehension of the information’s importance.

In current realities, such knowledge is not merely textbook theory, but vital skills that can save lives. The ability to react correctly to danger, recognize the mine threat, and be prepared for emergencies is something everyone must know. The information received should become the foundation for forming a culture of safe behavior.

We thank «Chervonyi Khrest» for the valuable knowledge and for caring about the safety of our youth. Such events are extremely necessary and essential for fostering a culture of safety among the student community.
