Integrating the experience of practicing professionals into the educational process: a master class for future physical education teachers

As part of the study of the educational component “Theory and Methods of Physical Education” for higher education applicants in the ЕPP “Physical Education”, specialty 014.11 Secondary Education (Physical Education), on February 25, 2026, a master class was held on the topic: “Means of increasing the motor activity of schoolchildren: returning movement and positive emotions to the format of online physical education lessons.”

The speaker of the event was Elyzaveta Baluyeva, a physical education teacher at the Mining Support SEI No. 17 of the Kurakhiv City Council of Donetsk Region – a graduate of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Human Health of the BSPU.

The master class analyzed the key barriers of the distance format (decreased motivation, psychological difficulties in interaction, lack of sports equipment, lack of teamwork) and outlined ways to overcome them.

Elyzaveta Baluyeva presented practical tools for activating students: the use of short movement blocks, gamification, online challenges, variant exercises without special equipment, as well as techniques for creating a positive emotional environment and supporting feedback.

Higher education students had the opportunity to analyze fragments of online physical education lessons, discuss methodological solutions and model their own approaches to organizing distance learning.

Involving practicing professionals in the implementation of the educational program ensures a combination of theoretical training with real conditions of professional activity and contributes to improving the quality of training of future physical education teachers.
