Meeting with a practitioner: experience of a physical education teacher in a modern school

On March 5, 2026, a meeting was held for students of the educational programs “Secondary Education (Physical Culture)” and “Physical Culture and Sports” with a practitioner – Anatolii Puchkin, a Physical Education teacher at Specialized School No. 57 with advanced study of English of the Shevchenkivskyi District, Kyiv.

The event was organized within the framework of the educational component “Theory and Methods of Physical Education” and aimed to combine the theoretical training of students with real practical experience of work in general secondary education institutions.

During the meeting, Anatolii Oleksandrovych presented an informative presentation and demonstrated video materials from his pedagogical practice. In his presentation, he shared his experience in organizing modern physical education lessons, discussed approaches to increasing students’ physical activity, forming their motivation to engage in physical education, and promoting a healthy lifestyle among schoolchildren.

Special attention during the meeting was paid to the practical aspects of a physical education teacher’s work in modern schools, the use of innovative teaching methods, and the organization of effective interaction with students. The students had the opportunity to ask questions, discuss the specifics of the teaching profession, and receive valuable recommendations for their future pedagogical work.
