In February and March 2026, students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Specialty 081 “Law”) completed their practical training at the BSPU “Quorum” Legal Clinic.

Serhii Stabias, Oleksandr Kaliuzhnyi, Vadym Kalatai, and Anna Kuzheliuk participated in providing pro bono legal consultations to clients on family, inheritance, and contract law issues.

All interns worked on preparing legal awareness initiatives focused on intellectual property law and language legislation in Ukraine. They also developed presentations and educational videos.

To further enhance his expertise, Maksym Rohalskyi completed an online course titled “Intellectual Property,” organized by the Academy of Consulting Business.

On February 20, 2026, the “Quorum” Legal Clinic held an interactive “Street Law” (Practical Law) webinar for the BSPU community and members of the “Mits Azova” NGO. The session focused on the legislative protection of the state language. The speakers of the event were Anastasiia Fedorchenko and Valeriia Chepelenko.

Student clinicians also took part in a series of online meetings with prominent legal practitioners:

  • February 6, 2026 – Dmytro Kalmykov, Deputy Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), briefed future lawyers on the Agency’s activities and the specifics of the state’s anti-corruption policy.
  • February 17, 2026 – Ivan Yurchyshyn, a detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), shared practical experience in investigating corruption-related offenses.
  • February 19, 2026 – Students attended a workshop on client interviewing and counseling organized by the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine. Human rights defender and advocate Maria Tsypiashchuk emphasized the principles of counseling and the nuances of working with different types of clients.
  • March 10, 2026 – Dmytro Mykhailenko, a judge of the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC), discussed the court’s functioning, case-law practices, and professional requirements for legal training.

The knowledge and skills acquired by the students will significantly contribute to the formation of their professional identity as legal experts.
