On March 3, 2026, within the framework of the “Speech Therapy Festival” of the Department of Applied Psychology and Speech Therapy, a report conference of applicants of the 3rd year of the specialty “Special Education” was held. The event was the result of production pedagogical practice and an important component of the professional development of future specialists in the field of special and inclusive education.

The meeting was attended by the heads of practice – senior lecturers of the Department of Applied Psychology and Speech Therapy Daryna Lytvychenko and Inna Samoylenko, as well as the assistant of the department Kateryna Klets. The teachers noted the responsibility, professional maturity and positive dynamics of the development of applicants, emphasizing the importance of production practice as a key stage in the training of a future speech therapist.

During the conference, the applicants presented the results of their activities, analyzed professional situations, shared difficulties and achievements, and demonstrated the developed didactic materials. Particular attention was paid to the reflection of the experience gained: the applicants outlined their own professional discoveries, realized growth areas, and confirmed their readiness for further improvement of practical skills. The reports demonstrated the formation of key professional competencies, the ability to analyze pedagogical processes, and make informed decisions in real conditions of the educational environment.

A feature of the event was the involvement of junior year applicants, who had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the practical results of the work of senior students, ask questions, and receive valuable recommendations. This format contributed to the formation of the continuity of generations of future specialists and the creation of an atmosphere of professional support within the educational community.
