The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities hosted a meeting of the working group of the new educational and scientific master’s programme “Literature and Arts Management” with the pioneers of this speciality — applicants studying on the programme.
The first enrolment in the educational and professional programme took place only this academic year (2025-2026) and it remains the only interdisciplinary educational and scientific programme at the university that combines two powerful specialities — D3 Management and B11 Philology.
The purpose of the meeting was strategic: to analyse the experience of the first semester and hear direct feedback from the programme’s applicants. The working group discussed the educational content, the balance between the theoretical and practical components of the programme, and the prospects for further improvement, taking into account current requirements and challenges in the field of literary and artistic management.
Based on the results of the first semester, the working group proposed a number of adjustments to the content of individual educational components, while the master’s students shared their own vision for the development of the programme and noted the high relevance of the knowledge to the current demands of the creative industries. A series of interesting and promising meetings for the further development of the programme were announced, in particular with representatives of the Ukrainian Book Institute with a view to further cooperation.
The educational and scientific programme “Literature and Arts Management” is not just about learning, it is about creating a community of professionals who understand the value of words and know how to turn a creative idea into a successful socio-cultural project. That is why its development is an important task today, and expanding the stakeholder base will allow us to respond to the needs of this field in a timely manner.
