As part of the educational component “Basic Military Training,” a guest lecture was held for students with the participation of representatives of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs — Marian Dmytrovych Kurliak, Head of the Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Police Major, and Bohdan Viktorovych Bilinskyi, Associate Professor of the Department and lecturer of the discipline “Pre-Medical Training.”
During the meeting, current issues related to safety, pre-medical training, and actions in high-risk situations were highlighted. Marian Dmytrovych emphasized the importance of systematic training of young people, the development of discipline, responsibility, and readiness for оперативне responding in difficult situations.
Particular interest was aroused by the speech of Bohdan Viktorovych Bilinskyi, who combines teaching activity with significant practical experience. His professional path is connected not only with teaching the discipline “Pre-Medical Training,” but also with direct participation in combat operations as part of the 125th Brigade of the Lviv Territorial Defense, where he served as a group commander, sniper, and combat medic. The material he presented had special practical value and attracted considerable interest among students.
The meeting became an important part of the educational process, contributed to deepening students’ knowledge, and once again emphasized the importance of combining theoretical training with the practical experience of professionals.
We sincerely thank Marian Dmytrovych Kurliak and Bohdan Viktorovych Bilinskyi for the informative lecture, valuable knowledge, and willingness to share their professional experience with students.
