To mark World Autism Awareness Day, the BSPU Debates held a thematic game. We discussed the current state of education regarding children with special educational needs.
The theme of the game: “Is the modern education system ready to work with children with ASD”.

The event was preceded by an information meeting, at which the details of the debate game, aspects of argumentation and refutation, elements of the case and nuances of the format were discussed.
By the way, at this meeting, the circle played for the first time in the Oxford format. It involves 2 teams of 4 speakers each.
The event is unique in both the composition of the teams and the composition of the jury: the round was judged by the head of the department of applied psychology Olena Starynska, the head of speech therapy and Oleksiі Masyutin, participant of the Berdіansk debate movement.
According to the results of the game, the judges determined the TOP-3 speakers:
