Participation of the Faculty of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance of BSPU in a Professional Development Program on Digital Financial Literacy

The faculty members of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University joined the international professional development program Digital Financial Literacy and Social Responsibility, organized by V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

The aim of the course was to enhance professional competencies in the field of digital financial literacy, foster a responsible approach to financial decision-making in the context of the digitalization of the economy, and familiarize participants with modern approaches to financial education and social responsibility.

During the training, participants explored key topics related to digital financial tools and services, cybersecurity in the financial sector, behavioral aspects of financial decision-making, principles of social responsibility in financial activities, and the integration of digital literacy into the educational process.

Special attention was given to practical case studies and interactive learning formats, which contributed to the development of critical thinking skills, financial data analysis, and informed managerial decision-making.

Participation in the program became an important stage in the professional development of the faculty, enabling them to update the content of educational components and integrate modern digital tools into the teaching of economics and management disciplines.

The acquired knowledge and competencies will contribute to improving the quality of higher education, fostering students’ financial culture, digital literacy, and socially responsible behavior in the modern economic environment.
