Students of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Human Health at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University not only acquire solid professional knowledge, but also actively fulfill themselves in sports activities, achieving significant results in practice. A vivid example of such determination, professional growth, and dedication to his chosen field is Anton Yuriiovych Bobyr — a student of specialty A7 “Physical Culture and Sports,” a Kyokushinkai karate coach in the city of Kropyvnytskyi, and a holder of the 1st Dan black belt.

Anton Yuriiovych began his journey in karate at the age of five, and by the age of 17 he had successfully passed the dan test for the first dan. He is a participant and prizewinner of regional competitions and Ukrainian championships. It was also at the age of 17 that he began his coaching career. Today, he coaches more than 35 students, which is evidence of his high level of responsibility, professional maturity, and devotion to sports.

An important event in the team’s sporting life was the participation of the “Sokol Dojo” Sports Club in the “Sakura Cup” tournament, which took place on March 28 in the city of Oleksandriia. At the competition, the club demonstrated the true spirit of Kyokushinkai karate, strength of character, perseverance, and team unity.

Out of 20 athletes who took part in the tournament, 16 won prize places, and one athlete received the special award “For the Will to Win.” This result is a significant achievement both for the club’s athletes and for their coach, who managed to build a strong, disciplined, and united team.

Studying in specialty A7 “Physical Culture and Sports” creates favorable conditions for the professional development of students, the enhancement of their leadership qualities, coaching competencies, and practical skills. The story of Anton Bobyr is a vivid example of how a student of the faculty successfully fulfills himself in professional activity, достойно representing the sports community and inspiring the younger generation of athletes.

We sincerely congratulate Anton Yuriiovych Bobyr and the “Sokol Dojo” Sports Club on their successful performance at the “Sakura Cup” tournament and wish them new victories, further achievements, and continuous progress toward sporting excellence.
