On 12.05.2026, a meeting of the student scientific section “Current problems of biology, human health, physical rehabilitation and ecology” was held at the Department of Biology, Human Health and Physical Rehabilitation of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, in which bachelor’s and master’s students studying in the specialty A14.05 Secondary Education (Biology and Human Health) took part.

The applicants presented the results of research related to the teaching of biology, human health, ecology.

In particular, Alina Kovinkina, a 2nd year student of the first level of education, reported on the topics “Educational practices of sustainable development as a tool for overcoming cognitive barriers in schoolchildren during the study of biology” (scientific supervisor – Svitlana Khatuntseva) and “Biological mechanisms of stress and their impact on the body of adolescents” (scientific supervisor – Iryna Rastorgueva).

Alina Koval, a second level student, presented the results of the study on the topic “Environmental education as one of the means of achieving sustainable development goals” (scientific supervisor – Natalia Pshenichna).

Anastasia, a second level student, presented a report on the topic “Organization and implementation of distance learning in biology lessons using social networks and web services” (scientific supervisor – Vitaliy Hnatyuk).

Larisa Ivanina, a master’s student, spoke about “Interactive teaching methods and their use in health fundamentals lessons” (supervisor – Natalia Pshenichna).

Elizaveta Synegub, a second-level student, presented the results of a study on “Forms and methods of testing and evaluating students’ academic achievements in biology” (supervisor – Svitlana Khatuntseva).

Polina Kinchevska, a master’s student, presented a report on “Problems of organizing and conducting group work in biology and health fundamentals” (supervisor – Svitlana Khatuntseva).

Kateryna Kozynets, a second-level student, presented the results of a study on “Use of non-traditional teaching methods in biology and health fundamentals lessons” (supervisor – Svitlana Khatuntseva).

Denis Kornev, a 3rd year student of the first level of education, reported on the topic “Interdisciplinarity as a basis for the development of environmental education” (scientific supervisor – Vita Chernevych).

The speakers were awarded certificates of the rector of the BDPU and thanks for participation.
