Participation of BSPU in the “University_Is_People” Dialogue Platform

Yevheniia Lyndina, Dean of the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, participated in the dialogue platform “University_Is_People”, which took place on June 4, 2026, at Lviv Polytechnic National University at the initiative of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.

The event brought together around 400 participants from 118 higher education institutions across Ukraine and served as a large-scale platform for professional dialogue on the development of human potential in universities, quality assurance in higher education, and contemporary approaches to university management.

The event was moderated by Andrii Butenko, Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, and Deputy Heads of the Agency Nataliia Stukalo and Ivan Nazarov. In their speeches, they emphasized a people-centered approach as a key principle of modern university development, highlighting the importance of supporting academic communities, fostering the professional growth of academic staff, and developing effective institutional policies.

During the platform discussions, participants addressed issues related to recruitment, evaluation, and recognition of university staff, the modernization of qualification assessment criteria for academic and teaching personnel, as well as mechanisms for motivation, professional development, and support of university teams in the context of current challenges.

An important component of the event was professional networking with colleagues from various higher education institutions in Ukraine and representatives of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance. Such meetings provide opportunities for sharing experiences, discussing current issues of educational programme accreditation, developing internal quality assurance systems, and seeking joint solutions for the further advancement of Ukrainian higher education.

Participation in the dialogue platform provided an important opportunity to reflect on current trends in higher education development, establish professional contacts, and explore best practices in human capital management that can be implemented in university activities.
