Safety begins with awareness: an informational and educational event held at BSPU

In today’s realities, knowledge of safe behavior rules is a necessary part of everyday life. It is especially important to be able to recognize potential danger and know how to act correctly when explosive objects are discovered.

This was the focus of the informational and educational meeting “Raising Awareness of the Risks of Explosive Objects and Risk Prevention Training,” held at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University with the participation of representatives from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

Participants in the meeting included students, faculty, and staff of the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical Education and Arts. During the event, they received important information about explosive objects, potential risks, and rules for safe behavior in the event such objects are discovered.

A distinctive feature of the meeting was its interactive format: those present not only listened but also took part in practical exercises, discussions, and scenario-based tasks. This helped participants better understand the algorithms for action in dangerous situations and reinforce the knowledge gained.

Events like this hold particular significance today, as awareness, vigilance, and correct behavior can protect a person from serious danger.
