Workshop on Writing Academic Abstracts within the FEPSSO Science Festival 2026

As part of the FEPSSO Science Festival 2026, the Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education held a workshop on writing academic abstracts. The event brought together students, young researchers, and everyone interested in developing their academic skills and taking their first confident steps in research.

During the meeting, Kateryna Surelo, a first-cycle (Bachelor’s degree) student, introduced the participants to the main requirements for preparing academic abstracts. Particular attention was paid to formulating a research topic, substantiating its relevance, presenting the main content logically, and drawing well-grounded conclusions.

During the practical part of the workshop, the participants analysed common mistakes made when writing abstracts, discussed ways to avoid them, and received recommendations on presenting their research findings. Everyone had an opportunity to ask questions, share their research ideas, and receive guidance.

The event took place in an atmosphere of open professional communication and mutual support. The workshop provided a valuable platform for developing young people’s research competencies, fostering academic culture, and promoting research activities among students.
