Student Self-Governance Without Borders: The FPPOM Student Council at an International Online Meeting

On November 4, the Student Council of the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University joined the online event “Beyond Representation: Student Self-Governance, Participation and University Development in Ukraine and Germany.”
The speakers were Polina Hombalevska and Volodymyr Sydiaha, representatives of the Ukrainian Association of Students (UAS), along with Katharina Grabler and Silas Gronbach from Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE).
The event focused on student self-governance, student participation in decision-making, and university development. For the FPPOM Student Council representatives, it was an opportunity to learn about Ukrainian and German experiences and gain a broader perspective on the role of student representation.
We thank the organisers and speakers for inviting us to this international dialogue and for addressing issues that matter to the student community!
Together, we are opening up new opportunities for students to take an active part in university life!
