On November 12, 2025, second (master’s) level students of the educational and professional program “Finance, Banking and Insurance” at Berdiansk State Pedagogical University, Yevhenii Otrokh and Tetiana Lukianchuk, participated in the XII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific Support for the Development of the National Economy: Achievements of Theory and Practical Challenges”, organized by Poltava State Agrarian University in a hybrid format using remote technologies.
The young researchers presented their findings in the section “Current Issues of Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting, and Enterprise Activity Analysis”, focusing on the analysis of financial results as indicators of crisis management in the resort and recreation industry, as well as the analysis of financial security in the confectionery sector. Their work highlighted the need to improve existing financial mechanisms for enterprises across different industries under current challenges.
Such events create a strong scientific environment for developing the professional competencies of higher education students, fostering their analytical thinking, the ability to systematize research findings, and to formulate appropriate conclusions.
Student participation in scientific conferences is an integral part of the educational process within the “Finance, Banking and Insurance” program. It represents an important step toward the professional development of future specialists capable of combining academic knowledge with practical aspects of the development of Ukraine’s financial system.
