On November 11, 2025, an important educational event initiated by the BSPU Library took place. The meeting, which gathered faculty members and students from the FFMKTO, covered a wide range of issues critical to the quality of modern education. The main focus was placed on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. Participants thoroughly discussed recommendations and ethical aspects of applying AI as a tool in teaching and research activities, striving to find a balance between innovation and integrity.

In addition, significant attention was paid to open access literature and the rules for its correct usage, as well as practical control mechanisms. Procedures for checking diploma theses for plagiarism at BSPU were reviewed, which is a key element in ensuring the integrity of student research.

The discussion also included fundamental concepts. Participants thoroughly addressed the essence of academic integrity, academic culture, and academic ethics, emphasizing that these principles form the foundation of a high-quality educational environment. The final topic was academic writing in the context of scientific research, where the importance of correct source citation was highlighted to avoid misconduct.

We thank all faculty members and students for their active participation and engagement. The event was an important step towards raising awareness and fostering a high academic culture amid rapid technological changes. We thank the BSPU Library for organizing such an interesting and vital event!
