For several years in a row, master’s degree students of the Kharkiv Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy (HSPA) have successfully completed their teaching assistant practice at the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical Education and Arts. This year, the future colleagues were mentored by experienced faculty members of the department: Associate Professors Iryna Cherezova and Yevheniia Kocherha, as well as Senior Lecturer Oksana Strilchuk.
The internship enabled the young scholars not only to demonstrate a high level of theoretical knowledge but also to gain valuable practical experience. Master’s students Maryna Dron, Valeriia Omelchuk, Albina Sukhotepla, Danil Savello, and Serhii Samson successfully delivered lectures in specialized psychology courses, applying interactive teaching methods, multimedia presentations, and case-study techniques. They managed to transform complex scientific theories into engaging discussions that sparked genuine interest among undergraduate students.
The practice supervisors highlighted the interns’ strong motivation, their ability to maintain audience engagement, and their effective communication skills. This experience became an important step in their professional development as future lecturers and researchers in the field of psychology.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the practice coordinator from HSPA, Hanna Krasina, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, Primary Education, and Educational Management. We appreciate the high level of student preparation, reliable partnership, and fruitful cooperation that enriches the professional experience of our academic communities.
