Artistic Victory of “MarLen”: Alina Shyp’s Triumph at the All-Ukrainian Festival “MUZA”

A remarkable achievement for the People’s Amateur Trade Union Collective of Ukraine of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University – the pop dance ensemble «MarLen»  (supervisor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Martynenko) – was the victory of its participant Alina Shyp at the 14th All-Ukrainian Open Festival-Competition of Talents “MUZA”, which took place on December 13, 2025, in the city of Zaporizhzhia.

The talented performer presented a choreographic composition that combined technical excellence, modern dance vocabulary, and sincere emotional expression. This harmony enabled Alina not only to win First Place in the competition program but also to receive a special festival award — the “Bright Individuality” nomination, which is granted to artists distinguished by strong stage charisma and a unique personal style.

The competition performance was created by Natalia                                   Kryvun – choreographer-pedagogue of the «MarLen» ensemble, Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Health-Preserving Technologies (FFKSZL), and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Choreography and Fitness at BSPU.

This victory once again confirmed the high level of creative training of students at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University and the active development of contemporary choreographic art within the institution. Alina SHYP’S achievement is the result of persistent work, talent, and inspiration, which достойно represent BSPU at all-Ukrainian artistic platforms.
