BDPU Students Celebrated the 198th Anniversary of Berdiansk in Truskavets and Honored Mykola Kolessa During a Trip to Lviv

Students of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University, together with internally displaced persons from Mariupol, took part in the celebration of the 198th anniversary of the founding of the city of Berdiansk. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by a concert, which was also attended by the university’s rector, who came in person to support the students and feel the spirit of unity and creativity.

The event brought together students, volunteers, and guests who shared heartfelt words, songs, and good deeds. Such initiatives demonstrate that mutual support and creative collaboration can heal, inspire hope, and leave a lasting positive impression.

As part of the event, the students also traveled to Lviv, where they honored the memory of the renowned Ukrainian conductor, composer, and educator Mykola Kolessa. At the monument to the artist, they paid tribute to a person who became a symbol of the development of Ukrainian musical culture and left a significant legacy in the fields of art and education.
