On April 30, within the framework of the educational component “Theory and Methods of Physical Education”, a binary guest lecture entitled “Innovative Physical Education Projects for Students in the Context of the New Ukrainian School” was held for students majoring in Secondary Education (Physical Education).

The event was aimed at deepening the professional training of future physical education teachers, familiarizing students with modern approaches to organizing physical education activities for schoolchildren, as well as with practical experience in implementing innovative educational and sports projects in general secondary education institutions.

The speakers of the lecture were Olena Otravenko and Oleksii Kachan, who shared their professional experience in implementing physical education initiatives, developing partnerships in the field of sport, and introducing modern educational practices in accordance with the ideas of the New Ukrainian School.

During the lecture, topical issues of modernizing physical education in the context of the New Ukrainian School were discussed, in particular the use of innovative forms of physical activity, project-based approaches, teamwork, partnership, and motivating students to engage in physical education. Special attention was paid to the practical possibilities of implementing physical education projects that contribute to the formation of a healthy lifestyle, the development of social skills, activity, initiative, and responsibility among schoolchildren.

Students had the opportunity to learn about examples of successful physical education projects, discuss the specifics of their organization and implementation in the educational environment, and ask questions to the speakers. The lecture was held in the format of a professional dialogue, which made it possible to combine theoretical aspects of future specialists’ training with the practical experience of leading experts in the field of physical culture, sport, and education.

The binary guest lecture became an important element of practice-oriented training for higher education students and contributed to broadening their understanding of the modern opportunities of a physical education teacher’s professional activity in the context of the New Ukrainian School.

We sincerely thank Olena Otravenko and Oleksii Kachan for the meaningful lecture, professional experience, openness to cooperation, and valuable practical recommendations for future physical education teachers. We look forward to further fruitful cooperation and the implementation of joint educational initiatives.
