April 24, 2026 — the third day of the Study Visit to Spain within the Erasmus+ international project “LECTURE” — proved to be particularly intensive and significant for all participants.
The working day at the University of the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Spain) began with an in-depth exploration of the secondary education system in Spain and the Balearic Islands. Inspector Eva Quirós delivered a comprehensive presentation on the structure, challenges, and opportunities of secondary education in the region, while Inspector Adela Bujosa led a reflective session on teaching internships in secondary education institutions — a valuable experience for understanding how theory is implemented in everyday school practice.
The programme continued with a session dedicated to academic publishing: Dr. Juan Moreno and Dr. Gemma Tur presented the journal Edutec and introduced approaches to research design for publication — highly relevant information for the academic community of Ukrainian universities.
Berdyansk State Pedagogical University was represented by Rector Ihor Bohdanov, First Vice-Rector Olha Hurenko (project coordinator at BSPU), Coordinator of International Activities Ihor Lyman, and Head of the Department of Pedagogy Khrystyna Petryk. Following the official part, a project partners’ meeting took place in a hybrid format, and participants also had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza (MACE).
The third day of the visit clearly demonstrated that cooperation between Ukraine and Spain in the field of education is reaching a new level.
