Cooperation for the Development of Special Education

Within the framework of interuniversity scientific and educational cooperation, Alina Synytsia, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Psychology and Speech Therapy, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education, and Head of the Competence Center for Inclusive Education of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University, delivered a guest lecture on November 5, 2025, at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The scientific and methodological event was devoted to the topic “Communicative and Speech Development of Early Childhood”, which is one of the key issues in contemporary special and inclusive education. The lecture focused on the theoretical foundations of the formation of the functional system of language and speech in ontogenesis, as well as modern scientific approaches to the early identification of speech development risks and the formation of communicative skills in young children.

During the academic discussion, students of the specialty “Special Education (Speech Therapy)” had the opportunity to integrate theoretical concepts with practical aspects of their future professional activity, to comprehend the interdisciplinary nature of speech therapy work, and to recognize the importance of early intervention within the system of psychological and pedagogical support.

The meeting took place in the format of a professional scientific dialogue and contributed to broadening the professional outlook of future speech therapists, intensifying scholarly discussions in the field of special education, and strengthening partnership ties between higher education institutions.
