On October 10, World Mental Health Day, the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts at BSPU hosted an art therapy workshop «My Inner Garden: Caring for Mental Health».
The initiator of the event, Yevheniia Kocherha, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology and a member of the All-Ukrainian Art Therapy Association, emphasized that mental health is not merely the absence of illness but a state of well-being, inner balance, and harmony with oneself and the world.
The meeting aimed to create a space for silence, self-reflection, creativity, and self-love. Participants explored their emotional states, shared associations related to the theme of mental health, and created their own «inner gardens» — symbols of care, balance, and inner peace.
The workshop served as a reminder that self-care is a daily practice, and creativity can be a pathway to healing, renewal, and deeper self-understanding.
🧘♀️ We thank everyone who joined us. Together, we filled this day with meaning, harmony, and peace. 💚
