Today, together with first-year students of the second level of higher education, we gathered to remember one of the most tragic pages of our history — the Holodomor. This artificially created genocide took the lives of millions of Ukrainians, shattered destinies, separated families, and left a deep wound in the heart of our nation.

The students prepared extremely meaningful and emotional presentations. Every word, every story sounded as a reminder of the importance of preserving historical truth and passing it on to future generations.

The speech by Diana Komochkina was especially moving, as she shared her grandmother’s memories of those terrible years. Her story brought to life images of devastated homes, lost childhoods, the struggle for survival, and human resilience. Such testimonies are an invaluable part of our national memory, passed down from generation to generation.

Of course, considering the specialty A4 (Art. Musical Art), this curatorial hour was enriched with musical accompaniment. The immortal “Melody” by Myroslav Skoryk, performed on the violin by Mykola Zuev, immersed everyone present in an atmosphere of remembrance, sorrow, and deep understanding of the tragedy, helping to feel the pain and unbreakable spirit of those who lived through those horrifying events.

We sincerely thank all students of group m13MM for their active participation, preparation of presentations, and heartfelt stories — your contribution made this curatorial hour truly memorable.
