Dictation of Unity: BDPU Honored the Most Literate Students

On November 10, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University held an award ceremony for students who wrote the Dictation of Unity flawlessly — an annual initiative that unites the entire university family around the Ukrainian word.

Symbolically, the event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere — offline in frontline Zaporizhzhia and online across Ukraine and beyond its borders. Language brings people together, inspires, and reminds us of our shared identity.

Acting Rector Yana Sychikova congratulated the winners, emphasizing that literacy is an indicator of knowledge and a sign of respect for one’s native language, culture, and traditions. Lida Chemonina, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, who checked the works, also congratulated the students and noted their diligence and high level of knowledge.

This year, the following students successfully completed the task and became the winners:

• Danylo Zubov;
• Anastasiia Nemychko
• Viktoriia Makarenko
• Daryna Kobets.

BDPU is proud of its students who demonstrate love for the Ukrainian word and serve as an example for everyone striving to improve their language culture.

Language unites – and thanks to such initiatives, the spirit of unity, mutual respect, and national dignity grows stronger every year at our university.
