On November 21, Ukraine marks the Day of Dignity and Freedom – a date that unites two revolutions and two powerful expressions of civic courage: the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity of 2013. These events changed the country – and changed us.

At the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts of BSPU, this day became an occasion for sincere conversations. Various academic groups held thematic educational sessions that turned into a space of memory, reflection, and meaningful dialogue.

Students together with their curators reflected on what it means to be a dignified, free, and responsible citizen. They discussed how the values of freedom, democracy, and human dignity manifest themselves in everyday life – in choices, in words, and in actions.

Special attention was given to the role of youth: their ability to preserve national identity, develop civic consciousness, and build the European future of Ukraine.

Such meetings form traditions that cultivate respect for history, sensitivity to modern challenges, and readiness to act with dignity. Because freedom is not only a right – it is a daily responsibility to oneself, to society, and to the country.
