Financial Security: BSPU Hosts Meeting with PUMB Experts

On April 27, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University hosted a practical lecture-meeting with representatives from PUMB Bank. This time, the audience consisted of faculty and staff who worked alongside banking specialists to explore current fraud protection methods.

Instead of complex theories, the guests focused on real-life scenarios. They discussed how scammers operate today, the psychological pressure tactics they use, and what to watch out for when receiving suspicious messages about payouts or calls from “security departments.” The bank representatives explained how to properly set up smartphone security and which card details should never be disclosed under any circumstances.

The meeting took place in the format of an open dialogue: university employees shared their own experiences and asked questions about the safety of online shopping and using banking apps. This discussion helped clarify how to act quickly and calmly to deny scammers any opportunity. We thank the PUMB specialists for the useful case studies and simple tips that will help our community feel more confident in the digital world.
