From October 13 to 17, 2025, lecturers from the Department of Economics, Management, and Finance of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University — Associate Professors Kateryna Lemish and Olena Tokarenko, and Senior Lecturer Viktoriia Shvachko — took part in the nationwide educational and business event “Online Business Lab 2025”, organized by the educational platform Genius.Space.

Over five days, participants had the opportunity to explore current trends in entrepreneurship, management, marketing, investment, and branding, as well as gain practical insights from leading Ukrainian and international experts.

Among the event’s speakers were Viacheslav Klymov (co-owner of Nova Poshta), Viktoriya Tigipko (founder of the venture fund TA Ventures), Yuriy Filyuk (CEO of Promprylad), Olena Borysova (owner of Gastro Family), Ihor Fostenko (Enjoy The Wood), Oleg Gorokhovskyi (Fintech Band, Mono), Andriy Dligach (Advanter Group), Oleksiy Durniev, Richard Etienne (The Introvert Space), and other distinguished professionals.

The event addressed a range of key topics, including:

  • Strategies for scaling businesses in the context of global competition;
  • Development of financial technologies and customer-oriented services;
  • Building a personal brand and effective business communication;
  • The role of investments and creative industries in the development of the modern economy;
  • Innovative approaches to team management, franchising, and marketing.

The knowledge and analytical materials gained during the event will serve as a valuable resource for further modernization of the department’s educational process in the Management specialty, improving curricula content, and implementing innovative teaching methods in economics-related disciplines.

Participation in the Online Business Lab 2025 contributed to enhancing the professional competence of the lecturers, broadening their scientific and practical perspectives, and deepening cooperation between educational and business environments.

The Department of Economics, Management, and Finance of BSPU continues to consistently implement innovative educational practices, combining academic training with the current needs of the business environment and the digital economy. This approach fosters in students entrepreneurial thinking, strategic vision, and the ability to effectively apply modern business methods in a rapidly changing world.
