The development and creation of Ukrainian-language art therapy tools is a vital task for the professional community of Ukrainian psychologists today, who are called to ensure the psychological resilience of society under challenging living conditions.

Yevheniia Kocherha, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of PPOM (Pedagogy, Psychology, and Social Work), is a co-author of a series of Ukrainian-language methodological manuals on art therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. These publications are born from the collaboration of practitioners from various regions of Ukraine—psychologists, art therapists, and consultants who work daily with the real stories of Ukrainians and their complex experiences, providing psychological support and assistance.

Each manual is more than just a collection of exercises; it is the result of professional experience and the interaction of Ukrainian practicing psychologists. The guides contain structured and tested art therapy techniques with clear algorithms that can be immediately applied in a psychologist’s work to resolve a range of psychological issues. These are tools that support and restore psychological resources—the internal and external capabilities, strengths, and personality traits that help individuals overcome stress and crises, adapt to change, maintain mental health, and achieve their goals.

These publications are particularly valuable for higher education students majoring in Psychology. Such methodological tools help future psychologists confidently enter the profession, deepen their theoretical and applied training, and develop their own professional style.
