The School of Leadership of BSPU, in collaboration with the Department of Social Work and Inclusive Education, held an event titled “Innovative Models of Social Service Delivery at the Intersection of Social Work and Preventive Medicine.”

The speaker was Olena Taran – HR business partner, organizational psychologist, facilitator, holder of master’s degrees in psychology and public health, pre-MBA, founder of Health Coaching & Well-being (a space for strengthening health), and initiator of the volunteer art therapy project Happy prostir in children’s hospitals. Olena is also an ambassador for physical culture development and an active runner.

During the session, participants explored innovative models of client work, discussed the potential integration of preventive medicine into the social sphere, and compared preventive approaches across various human-centered fields.

Particular attention was devoted to the benefits of preventive work and the challenges communities face in implementing it. In the practical segment, participants examined how the Gallup well-being model functions and discussed its potential application for improving the quality of life of social service clients.

The event was held within the framework of the educational component “Innovative Models of Social Service Delivery” for students of the educational and professional program “Post-War Social and Psychological Rehabilitation”, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
