The Social and Humanities Faculty of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University hosted an insightful meeting between students, lecturers, and representatives of the international company AB InBev Efes Ukraine, organized by the Department of Economics, Management, and Finance.
The aim of the event was to familiarize students with the realities of the modern labor market, current trends in human resource management and marketing, as well as to broaden their understanding of professional development opportunities.
The meeting centered around two key topics.
The first was presented by Kristina Chumikova, a talent acquisition specialist, who offered a detailed overview of opportunities for young professionals in an international company and explained how to join a team that values development, initiative, and openness to new ideas. She highlighted how to present oneself effectively during the selection process, which competencies are currently most in demand, why it is important to begin professional growth during university studies, and how participation in student and volunteer projects can strengthen a résumé. Students actively asked questions about the first steps in building a career, internship opportunities, and pathways to joining the AB InBev Efes Ukraine team.
The second topic focused on current marketing trends and expectations for how marketing will evolve in the near future. It was presented by Maria Chuieva, Brand Marketing Manager for the Super Premium Segment. She shared examples of relevant marketing tools, discussed changes in consumer behavior, the growing role of personalized content, and the importance of data-driven decision-making. The speaker stressed that the marketer of the future must combine creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly to change.
Thanks to its open format, the meeting turned into a lively dialogue during which students received practical advice, learned about internal processes in a large international company, and evaluated their own prospects for professional development.
Lecturers emphasized the significance of such events, as they combine academic knowledge with real business practices and help students navigate their future professions with greater confidence.
The Department of Economics, Management, and Finance plans to continue strengthening cooperation with business representatives, creating new opportunities for students of the Social and Humanities Faculty and supporting their professional and personal development.
