On March 12, 2026, the Department of Pedagogy of the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University hosted the traditional first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Pedagogy. The event became an intellectual platform for higher education students representing the SGF, FPPOM, FFMKTO, and FFKSZL faculties who strive to deepen their understanding of pedagogical science and demonstrate professional thinking.
The Olympiad participants competed in three contest stages: completing a test, presenting a creative task, and solving pedagogical situations in real time. This format enabled students to demonstrate not only their solid knowledge of pedagogy, psychology, and didactics, but also their ability to apply this knowledge in practical activities.
The creative stage of the Olympiad attracted particular interest. During this stage, future teachers presented their own educational videos and justified their pedagogical relevance. The participants’ works demonstrated a high level of digital competence, methodological training, and creativity among future specialists.
Based on the results of the three rounds, the jury determined the winners of the first stage of the Olympiad. The winners were: Diana Okhrymenko, a second-level (Master’s) higher education student (FPPOM, specialty A3 Primary Education), and Anastasiia Fedorchenko, a first-level (Bachelor’s) student (FPPOM, specialty 013 Primary Education).
Second place was awarded to first-level (Bachelor’s) students Anastasiia But (FPPOM, specialty 013 Primary Education) and Halyna Hladushchenko (FPPOM, specialty 014.13 Secondary Education (Art. Musical Art)).
Third place was shared by first-level (Bachelor’s) students Oleksandr Ashkarian (FFKSZL, specialty 017 Physical Culture and Sports), Oleksandra Bartoshevych (FFKSZL, specialty 024 Choreography), and Veronika Horianina (FPPOM, specialty 013 Primary Education).
The Olympiad became an important event in the scientific and educational life of the university, demonstrating the high level of preparation, motivation, and creative potential of the student community. All participants were awarded certificates. We congratulate the winners and thank every student for their activity, responsibility, and commitment to professional development.
