Every year, on the last Saturday of November, Ukraine bows its head in sorrow, honoring the memory of the millions of innocent victims of the Holodomor. These are the tragic pages of our history that remind us of the price of human indifference and the crimes of totalitarian regimes.
On this occasion, the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts of BSPU held curator-led sessions that became a space for remembrance and reflection. Students and their curators discussed the importance of historical truth and how the tragedy of the Holodomor influenced the fate of the Ukrainian people and the formation of national identity.
Special attention was given to the present, as Ukraine once again confronts aggression and totalitarianism. That is why the memory of the Holodomor is not only history but also a warning that helps us understand the value of life, freedom, and human dignity.
Such meetings are not only a tribute to the past but also a way to comprehend the present and feel responsibility for the future. Because memory makes us stronger, and unity makes us unbreakable.
