On 18 May, the faculty hosted the engaging intellectual game “Scientific Challenge”, which brought together students from all years and specialities of the faculty. The event became not only an opportunity to test participants’ knowledge, but also a great chance for communication, teamwork, and plenty of positive emotions.

Three teams took part in the competition: “Pedagogical Chaos”, “Knowledge Titans”, and “Wild Beavers”.

The intellectual game consisted of three different rounds, each requiring participants to demonstrate a variety of skills and abilities.

The first round focused on testing students’ knowledge and erudition. Teams answered questions related to pedagogy, psychology, inclusion, academic integrity, and science in general, demonstrating broad-mindedness, attentiveness, and quick thinking.

The second round challenged students’ ingenuity and logical thinking. Participants had to guess “reversed” proverbs — intentionally altered sayings that needed to be restored to their original form. This task sparked lively discussions, laughter, and plenty of emotions  among the teams.

Particular excitement was generated by the third round, “Scientific Crocodile”. One representative from each team received a quotation by a famous educator or scholar and had to act it out for their teammates without using words — relying only on gestures, facial expressions, and movements. The teams then had to guess the quotation as quickly as possible. This stage proved to be one of the most dynamic and entertaining parts of the event.

Throughout the competition, the atmosphere remained exceptionally friendly, energetic, and cheerful. Participants demonstrated not only knowledge and erudition, but also creativity, a sense of humour, teamwork, and mutual support.

Following a close and exciting competition, the team “Knowledge Titans” claimed victory by a narrow margin.

“Scientific Challenge” became a vivid example of how science and learning can be truly engaging, interactive, and enjoyable.

We sincerely thank all participants for their enthusiasm, creativity, and the wonderful atmosphere throughout the event.
