On March 21, 2026, an event filled with warmth, light, and sincere emotions took place in Truskavets. As part of the Dance Intensive completion, first-cycle (Bachelor’s) students of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, enrolled in the Educational and Professional Program “Choreography,” presented the audience with a concert rich in meaning and humanity.
Under the guidance of the Head of the Department of Choreography and Fitness, Yuliia Taranenko, the students prepared and delivered an artistic event for internally displaced persons, as well as residents of Berdyansk and the Berdyansk district who are currently far from their homes. The venue for the meeting was a humanitarian center — a space of support, mutual understanding, and unity.
The concert program was dedicated to the International Day of Happiness — a day that reminds us of the importance of simple yet genuine feelings. Each choreographic piece revealed a new facet of this multifaceted concept: from tender images of a mother’s lullaby to reflections on fate, from the search for inner harmony to the affirmation of Ukrainian identity. Through the plasticity of movement, emotion, and stage expressiveness, the young artists spoke about the soul, memory, love, and hope.
The event was enriched by the special atmosphere created by Yuliia Taranenko, who hosted the program, subtly emphasizing the importance of happy moments in every person’s life. Her words were organically interwoven with the dance performances, creating a cohesive emotional narrative.
The audience expressed their sincere gratitude with applause, as such meetings become islands of support, offering at least a moment of relief, unity, and faith in a better future. In these moments, art transforms into a language understood without words.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Branch of the Information and Resource Center of the Berdyansk District in Truskavets for the invitation and for providing choreography students with the opportunity to realize themselves in stage practice, as well as to give people the most valuable gift — a healing emotion.
