Start of the New Academic Year: Meeting of the BSPU Council of Young Scientists

On September 17, 2026, an extended meeting of the Council of Young Scientists of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University (BSPU) was held. The event brought together representatives of all university faculties and served as an important platform for identifying the priorities of the young scientific community for the 2026–2027 academic year.

During the meeting, participants considered the formation of the new composition of the BSPU Council of Young Scientists and outlined the key areas of its activity for the upcoming period.

Prior to the meeting, faculty councils of young scientists submitted nominations of representatives willing to join the university Council of Young Scientists. Following an open vote, the new composition of the BSPU Council of Young Scientists for the 2026–2027 academic year was approved. The Council includes:

• Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education – Daryna Lytvychenko, Anastasiia Popova, Inna Samoilenko;
• Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts – Tetiana Mukhina, Kateryna Saprankova, Andriian Kuza;
• Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, Computer and Technological Education – Dariia Kolisnychenko, Yuliia Deriabina;
• Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities – Oleksii Korotkyi, Oleksandra Dudukalova, Maksym Holikov;
• Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Human Health – Yuliia Skyba, Nataliia Kryvun, Vita Chernevych.

Particular attention was paid to planning the Council’s future activities. During the discussion, participants approved the organization of the university’s traditional scientific events, including the conference “Science of the Third Millennium: Searches, Problems, and Development Prospects” and the competition “BSPU Young Scientist of the Year.”

In addition, the Council members supported an initiative to organize new university-wide events aimed at promoting research activities, fostering youth research, and encouraging students’ engagement in scientific work.

The extended meeting marked the beginning of a new stage in the activity of the BSPU Council of Young Scientists and outlined the main priorities for its work during the current academic year.
