Steps of recognition: university lecturer as a member of the jury

On February 7, 2026, in Zaporizhzhia at the CKP “Orbita” venue, the All-Ukrainian Festival of Culture and Arts “Talents of Khortytsia” took place in an in-person format.

The professional jury of the festival included the senior lecturer of the Department of Choreography and Fitness at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, Natalia Kryvun. Being invited to the jury of such a large-scale artistic event is a recognition of the lecturer’s high level of professional training and authority in the field of choreographic art.

The festival showcased a variety of cultural and artistic directions, including choreographic performances of different styles and genres. The participants’ performances were evaluated based on skill level, artistry, technique, and stage culture.

The following groups participated in the festival: the exemplary amateur ensemble “Suzirya,” the People’s Artistic Ensemble “Perlyna,” the exemplary artistic group “Stozhary” (folk dance studio), the exemplary artistic group “Zahadka” (contemporary dance studio), the People’s Artistic Studio “Chaika,” and the children’s contemporary dance studio “Viva Dance Studio.”

It is especially pleasing to note that the students of our university, studying in the specialty “B6 Performative Arts” and participating in dance groups in Zaporizhzhia, also demonstrated their skills on the festival stage.

Participation of university lecturers in All-Ukrainian artistic events contributes to enhancing the university’s image, establishing creative connections, and promoting contemporary Ukrainian art. The Department of Choreography and Fitness continues to actively engage in the country’s cultural life, supporting the development of talented youth and professional artistic initiatives.
